Do This: Tales of the Table

By Melissa Wiley in Food on Apr 4, 2013 7:00PM

2013_4_3_Fete.jpg Food tells a compelling story—about appetites of all dimensions as well as the people, places, and flavors that feed them. This Friday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Ina’s in West Town, local foodies with a gift for gab will set the table for their personal accounts of the road less traveled and tasted.

Together, Fête Chicago and 2nd Story will present an intimate evening of storytelling from the stovetop annals of Chef Ina Pinkney, Mike Gebert, Molly Each, and Jessica Young. In round-the-wine-bottle 2nd Story fashion, they’ll take turns regaling you with tales of serendipity, tendresse, and frustration, all with food at their core.

The event marks one of Fête Chicago’s many toasts to Chicago’s food and design scene from April 4-7. Tickets are $20 a person and include appetizers from Ina Pinkney, the Breakfast Queen, herself. Buy them online here.

Ina's is located at 1235 West Randolph.
