Get $3 Beers Sunday At Headquarters Beercade

2013_04_05_headquarters.jpg Sunday is "National Beer Day," which we happily celebrate at Chicagoist 365 days a year. On April 7, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt signed a law to allow people to brew and sell beer—so long as it was under 4.0 percent alcohol by volume. Though it would be eight more months before the 21st Amendment made all booze legal again, the change was a step in the right direction. Headquarters Beercade will be celebrating National Beer Day with $3 beers tomorrow.

Headquarters has 37 beers, including Solemn Oath's Kidnapped by Vikings, Left Hand Polestar, and Brewery Vivant Farm Hand. The special runs from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., so you'll have plenty of time to go drink up and play the free arcade games. Check out the beer list here.

Headquarters is located at 950 W Wolfram St.
