Arcade Brewery continues its focus on crowdsourcing by asking its fans to choose the film to be screened for its second monthly “Brew and Tweet” at 8 p.m. on April 13. Last month Arcade kicked things off by asking its fans to stream Highlander on Netflix Instant and use the Twitter hashtag #kiltscreen to follow along. Highlander was selected to celebrate the design competition for William Wallace Wrestle Fest, the Scotch ale that’s set to become Arcade’s first public brew.

For Saturday’s Brew and Tweet, Arcade is asking fans to vote among the following five movies: Sam Raimi’s original Evil Dead; the 1990 cult favorite Tremors, 1994 video game-inspired Double Dragon; virtual reality thriller The Thirteenth Floor; and the 2001 kung-fu comedy Shaolin Soccer. Film buffs may divine from the titles that camp is ruling the day here.

Votes are currently being tabulated on Arcade Brewery’s Facebook page and, as of post time, Evil Dead holds a comfortable lead. You should follow that time-honored Chicago tradition of voting early and often, however, and show Double Dragon some love in the process. The film has no votes currently; even dead politicians get votes in Chicago.
