If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's presumably the attitude taken by Chicago soul legend Mavis Staples on her forthcoming record, One True Vine, which, like its 2010 predecessor, You Are Not Alone, is produced by Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.

Vine's first single is a straightforward cover of Funkadelic's Maggot Brain classic "Can You Get To That," and it's one of ten tracks which will appear on Vine once it drops June 25th on -Anti. Listen to it here. According to Pitchfork, One True Vine was recorded at Wilco's Loft in Chicago. Check out "Can You Get To That" below.

And if you decide not to listen? Well, find out the consequences yourself in this adorable Facebook post. Could you imagine the conversation that could ensue?

One True Vine will be released on June 25.
