2013_4_17_DineAIDS.jpg Many people hear about HIV/AIDS and think, "Oh, didn't that get fixed with drugs by now?" Despite this misperception, HIV is actually on the rise in the U.S., especially among young people, and more than 15,000 people died of AIDS-related illnesses last year. There's a long way to go, but you can help.

On April 25, for the 20th year in a row, Dining Out for Life is running a special evening of dining and donating. Participating restaurants will give a portion of their proceeds to local AIDS-related charities all across the country. In Chicago, the list of restaurants is huge and includes favorites like Big Jones, Wishbone, Browntrout, Anteprima, Bistronomic and many, many more. Check out the whole list here.

Make reservations now for April 25. Give back, help people and get a great meal at the same time.
