For such a small space, Tiny Lounge turns out an amazingly large food menu of small plates that complement the Northcenter lounge’s cocktails perfectly. I was reminded of this a couple weeks back dining with friends there before catching Madeleine Peyroux at the Old Town School of Folk Music.

For once, I wasn’t the one choosing from the menu — one friend who arrived early did all the ordering for us and all I had to do was sit back and eat. All the menu items were on point, but Tiny Lounge’s chicken enchiladas deserve a special mention for the presentation and flavor. This dish contains chipotle braised chicken and pepperjack cheese wrapped in corn tortillas and baked in a tomatillo sauce, served with queso fresco, sour cream and some amazing market fresh greens. It makes me want to go back and order two of these for myself.

Tiny Lounge is located at 4352 N. Leavitt St.
