Polish Fest

We all know Cinco De Mayo happens this weekend. If you want to celebrate that, check out our list of events or just head to the street fest in Little Village. But Mexican-Americans are not the only nationality celebrating their ethnic heritage in Chicago this weekend. Jefferson Park's Polish Fest offers up beer, pierogies, potato pancakes and kielbasa, plus live music including Mucca Pazza. The party spans Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free for kids, $5 for adults.

The Copernicus Center is at 5216 West Lawrence Ave.
