Local personality Scott Emo has recently launched both a live talk show and a podcast, and he's already garnering some interesting guests. Recently he's chatted with Henry Rollins, musician Dessa, wrestler Colt Cabana and hip-hop artist Twista. But his chats are most interesting when his subjects are more unique, for instance when he talked to a young man living with MS, the "Jewish Jordan" Tamir Goodman, and most recently, Lee Crooks, the man whose voice you hear all over the CTA telling you what the next stop is and where the doors open.

We admit we were surprised to hear that Crooks still comes in to update recordings for the CTA a few times a year, and he points out that if you listen closely you can tell when a recording is older since his delivery has subtly changed over the years. You can listen to the whole interview below.
