Even if this weren’t at the beginning of Chicago Craft Beer Week, we’d feel obligated to let you know about this event. On Friday May 17 at 7p.m., you are invited to Taps 4 Tails at Fizz Bar and Grill to drink Sixpoint beer and benefit Chicago dog rescue organization, One Tail at a Time.

Tickets are $20 for one, or two for $35. All proceeds will go directly to One Tail at a Time, and your entry fee includes one pint of Sixpoint Sweet Action. Sixpoint beers available to you throughout the night include: Spice of Life Citra, a single hopped IPA with Citra hops, Apollo Krystalweizen, a filtered German wheat with Weihenstephaner yeast, Sweet Action, a hybrid of a cream, wheat, and pale ales, and Diesel, a hopped up American stout offering a blend of roasty coffee-like flavors, with an addition of piney American hops.

Aside from all that Sixpoint beer, entertainment comes from Duck Duck Comedy, Mike Kinsella of Owen, and Felix & Lyons. You can also enter a raffle, with prizes such as Pitchfork and Cubs tickets, along with other enticing items.

Get your tickets here.

Fizz Bar and Grill is located at 3220 N. Lincoln Ave.
