Illinois Man Arrested For Soliciting Prostitution While On His Honeymoon

A 21-year-old Lincolnwood man was arrested for prostitution while on his honeymoon in Florida. Husband of the year nominee Mohammed Ahmed left his wife at the hotel in Orlando to allegedly meet a person he thought was a prostitute.

From the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrest report:

21-year-old Mohammed Ahmed, DOB 11/1/1991, of Illinois, was arrested when he arrived at the undercover location after answering an ad posted by an undercover PCSO detective posing as a prostitute; he was charged with one count Soliciting Prostitution, and one count Possession of Marijuana; he and his wife are here staying at the Omni Hotel in Champions Gate on their honeymoon; after his arrest, because he didn’t return to the hotel, he was reported missing by his wife to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office—his wife was notified that he’d been arrested; he has no prior arrest history.

Ahmed was one of 92 people arrested during a 4-day prostitution sting. Authorities also arrested a 45-year-old youth minister from California, who allegedly arranged to meet a 14-year-old girl.
