What do you get if you put Off Color, Evil Twin, and Three Floyds together? Apparently you get two impressive beers. And, if you get to The Trencherman for tonight's Ménage àTrench event, you get the chance to try them.

John Laffler of Off Color worked with Three Floyds to create Tonnerre Neige, a Saison brewed with two yeast strains. Laffler then got together with Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø of Evil Twin to produce Beer Geek Mus, a Russian Imperial Stout that clocks in at a puzzling 3.5% AVB.

Chef Patrick Sheerin has created some special dishes to pair with each beer. The first is a coriander roasted shrimp and kohlrabi som tum, with pink grapefruit and herbs to be paired with the Tonerre Neige. The Second is steak tartare with cocoa nibs and marrow bean chili hummous, paired with the Beer Geek Mus.

Alongside these beers on the draft list will be beers (ironically, I suppose) from Mikkeller, including Orange Yuzu Glad I Said Porter and Draft Bear Pils, Three Floyds will represent with Artic Panzer Wolf and Alpha King.

The beers and specials will run from 5:30 p.m. until close tonight.

The Trencherman is located at 2039 W. North Ave.
