There are only so many ways one can repeat the same mantra, so let's cut to the chase: The White Sox suck right now and, if they continue playing the poor baseball that's earned them the AL Central cellar, they'll be sellers at the trade deadline next month. John Danks was rocked, again, as the Twins swept the Sox for the first time since September 2010. Danks was tagged for six runs and 12 hits in five innings. Four of those hits were homers. The game was nowhere near as close as the score indicated, even though back-to-back home runs by Paul Konerko and Adam Dunn closed the gap to two in the sixth inning. bad defense also played a part in the loss as the Twins' final runs were unearned.

Since reaching the .500 mark May 24 in a sweep of the Marlins, the White Sox have posted a 5-16 record as they return home to open a three-game series against Kansas City Friday. And the Sox play KC as tough as they play the Twins, so a Royals sweep is a distinct possibility.
