Three People Parachuted From Trump Tower Overnight [UPDATE]

Police are on the hunt for three people who broke into Trump Tower and parachuted off the roof overnight. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. The alleged thrill seekers used “a cutting device" to break locks leading to the skyscraper’s roof, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines. No one was injured.
Trump Tower’s roof sits 1,116 feet above street level. The length of the spire atop the building places Trump tower’s official height at 1,389 feet, making it the second-tallest building in Chicago and the third-tallest building in North America. Trump Tower was also where BASE jumpers jumped from during filming for Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
