Donut Milkshakes Are Coming To The Chicago French Market

We may have reached the apotheosis of desserts - "Peak sweet," if you will. The only thing that could top this donut milkshake for combined awesomeness is if it was actually a cronut milkshake. Then the internet, the world and the sun itself would simply explode.

Beavers Coffee & Donuts is bringing donut milkshakes to the Chicago French Market. On July 15, prepare to get fat - at least if you work in the loop or commute through Ogilvie. The shakes are made with vanilla, chocolate or strawberry ice cream and blended with sugar-dusted donuts. You can get strawberry or caramel sauce, but do you really need to at that point? Just revel in the sugar coma.

The milkshakes will be available all day and will cost $5. If you buy enough, maybe they'll become a permanent fixture.
