Join our pals at Chicago Beer Geeks for an evening of trivia and beer 6-9 p.m. July 24 at the 1550 Bar of Whole Foods Market Kingsbury Street. Teams of four or less will compete for prizes through six rounds, including a drinking round. Farmers market awareness

The "Meet the Market" series from Green City Market's Junior Board moves to Allium 6-8 p.m. July 25, featuring treats by chef Kevin Hickey made with produce from Growing Power and specialty cocktails featuring FEW Spirits. A portion of the proceeds from every FEW specialty cocktail funds Green City Market's composting program. (120 E. Delaware Pl., free.)
