Weekend Blotter: Six Killed In Weekend Gun Violence

- Six men were killed and at least 20 people were wounded in shootings citywide over the weekend.

- A 6-year-old girl and a 52-year-old woman were shot and seriously wounded while attending a memorial service for a slain man around 7:40 p.m. Friday in the Roseland neighborhood.

- Carlos Barron, 20, was shot and killed around 11 p.m. Friday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

- Morrice Gibson, 27, was shot and killed when he was caught in gang crossfire in the Gage Park neighborhood on Friday at 7 p.m.

- Eugene Clark, 25, was fatally shot around 11:30 p.m. Friday in the Englewood neighborhood. A man has been arrested in connection to the murder.

- William Brown, 34, was shot and killed around 11 p.m. Saturday in the South Chicago neighborhood.

- Marcus Holden, 28, was shot and killed when a fight at a party escalated around 2 a.m. Sunday.

- Donald Lewis, 25, was shot multiple times and killed in an alley in the Old Town neighborhood around 4 a.m. Sunday. Another man was was shot and wounded.

- In a non-gun-related homicide, one person was killed and two people were wounded when a gang fight broke out around 3:20 a.m. Sunday in the Gage Park neighborhood. Wenceslao Arriaga, 25, from Hobart, Ind., was arrested and charged with murder in connection to the incident in which he suffered a stab wound. A vehicle drove past a garage party, when someone at the party threw a brick thinking the car belonged to a rival gang. Those in the vehicle argued with those in the garage, and when Arriaga tried to flee after suffering stab wounds, he struck two men, killing Jose Ibarra, 20, and injuring a 23-year-old man. Then, they realized "they all were part of the same street gang, police said."

- One woman was killed and another was wounded when they attempted to drive away from an argument after being pepper-sprayed and crashed into parked cars around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Logan Square.
