Water Tower Falls Off Lincoln Park Building; 3 Injured, 1 Critically

A water tower fell from a nine-story building in Lincoln Park Wednesday morning, injuring three people, one of them critically.

According to the Chicago Fire Department's Office of News Affairs, the accident occurred around 10 a.m. at 2800 N. Pine Grove Ave. Two people, including the critically injured person, were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. The third was taken to St. Joseph Hospital. No other information about the incident is available at this time.
