Haven’t had your fill of festival season? The Empty Bottle (1035 N. Western Ave.) is providing another opportunity for dancing in the streets with their Friendly Family Block Party on Sunday, Sept. 1.

The block party begins at noon just outside the Bottle at Western and Cortez. Bands will take the stage beginning at 1 p.m., and each of the acts on the music lineup features an Empty Bottle staff member. Featured bands include Yakuza, Rabble Rabble, and Pet Lions.

Chef Dave Cooper of Bite Cafe will keep you fed on street eats while Revolution brings the brews. Back indoors, activities include face painting, nail art, and a corn hole area. Looking to really get friendly? Two words "dunk tank."
