Bon Appetit Names Fat Rice The 4th Best New Restaurant In America

Bon Appetit's list of the 10 best new restaurants in America was released a bit early and it's nice to see Logan Square's Fat Rice make the list at number four.

We've been fans of Abraham Conlon and Adrienne Lo since their days cooking underground dinners with X-Marx and their twists on the culinary traditions of Macau have earned raves from diners and critic alike. Conlon and Lo call it "Euro-Asian comfort food," since Macanese cuisine incorporates elements from Europe, the Far East, the Indian subcontinent and China.

Another restaurant that made Bon Appetit's list with a Chicago connection is Houston's The Pass & Provisions, helmed by former C-House chef Seth Siegel-Gardner. The Pass & Provisions made the list at number six.
