Looks like you'll have to find another way to get a cinnamon-roll induced food coma. The Andersonville location of Ann Sather at 5207 N. Clark, open since 1987, will be closing at the end of 2013.

Chicago Real Estate reported yesterday that Alderman Tom Tunney, the owner of Ann Sather, had sold the building to a large development company. Tunney then leased the space back until the end of the year. Tunney said in a press release:

"After careful consideration, I decided to consolidate our Andersonville-area restaurants at our newest location at 1147 West Granville. To ensure an orderly transition, I negotiated leasing back the restaurant through the end of the year."

Tunney wouldn't give any comment on why he decided to close the popular restaurant, and the other locations of Ann Sather won't be affected. The new owners are reportedly looking for a new restaurant or retail tenant for the space.
