'Safe Passage' Routes Tested On First Day Of Class For Chicago Public Schools

All eyes were on Chicago Public Schools "Safe Passage" routes Monday as over 400,000 students returned to class after a tumultuous summer for the school system that closed an unprecedented 50 schools in one fell swoop and drastically cut the budgets for other schools across the system.
