As if we didn't already have enough reasons to gush over Three Dots and a Dash, the new River North tiki bar from Paul McGee and Lettuce Entertain You, here's one more: the mugs. Everyone we have brought to the bar goes crazy for the mugs, but they have a not-very-dirty little secret. Most of them, you could buy yourself, online. Starting next week, you can buy them at the bar.

Three Dots ordered most of their mugs from two vendors, Tiki Farm and Cheeky Tiki. The mugs are occasionally customized with the Three Dots logo, but they're available to buy online if you are persistent. If you don't want to try that hard, they are easily available at the bar for $15. However, during the opening we heard rumblings about special, custom-designed tiki mugs that would eventually be coming.

Next Monday, the first of these special mugs will be released. The intricately detailed mug is modeled after a sea urchin and will only be available at Three Dots. Cost is $20. To celebrate, McGee himself will be taking over the bar on Monday for the release.

Three Dots and a Dash is at 435 N. Clark Street.
