Photos: St. James Catholic Church Demolition Progress

Demolition continues on St. James Catholic Church on the South Side. When we last checked in on the the historic church, crews had already started tearing down the church's roof and interior structure.
Chicagoist Photos Flickr pool contributors Ken "artistmac" Smith and Gabriel X. Michael recently paid visits to St. James and, as you can see from these photos, the rubble grows. One photo in particular has us hoping the Archdiocese saved what they wanted to from the old house of worship before bringing in the wrecking ball.
