2013_10_15_MealsonWheels.jpg There are a lot of chef-driven charity events in Chicago, but the Meals on Wheels Celebrity Chef Ball is always one of the most spectacular. This year's event at the Zhou B Art Center features over 40 chefs, 15 mixologists, a silent auction, photo booth, live music and more.

Meals on Wheels is a charitable endeavor that is close to any food lover's heart. The organization delivers meals to homebound seniors, helps people with disabilities modify their homes to be more accessible and, starting this year, delivers meals to younger individuals with disabilities. This event, now in its 25th year, provides a huge chunk of Meals on Wheels' annual budget, so you know your ticket price is going to a very worthy cause.

There are two different ticket packages for the Oct. 26 event. If you want to go all-in, the VIP Chef's Table is for you. For $350, you get to watch the chefs cook a six-course dinner, mingle with your favorite cooks and mixologists and, after the dinner is over, head into the main party. If you're looking for a slightly cheaper option, the main event is $150. For that, you get access to a ton of tasting stations and specialty drinks.

The list of chefs is too big to paste here, so check it out on their site. While you are there, buy some tickets!
