An eighth man has been charged in an alleged kidnapping and assault of three teenage girls on the city's West Side.

Ramel Stevens, 20, of Cicero, was charged with three counts each of aggravated criminal sexual assault and kidnapping by force of threat and ordered held on $500,000 bond. Stevens is accused with Vanburen Robinson,18,of Maywood; Maurice Johnson, 17; itzpatrick Durham, 18; Kelvin Pryor, 17; Sadarius Price, 17; Joshua Grayer, 18, and Denzel Clay, 19; of talking the girls, ages 15 and 16, into a van. Two of the girls drank liquor and marijuana with the young men before some of the men allegedly sexually assaulted the three women.

The group is believed to have thrown the 15-year-old out of the van because she was making too much noise. That girl was able to drag one of the 16-year-olds out of the van with her. The group then allegedly drove the van with the third girl to Durham's home where she was again raped. Prosecutors said witnesses who saw the 15-year-old led them to Durham's basement where they found the third victim in a basement, her blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.

Another suspect remains at large.
