Can you believe the Logan Square Halloween Parade is turning 10 this year? That means some of the infants and toddlers who attended the inaugural parade with their parents are now on the cusp of puberty, if not tweens already.

This years event begins at 5:30 at the Illinois Centennial Monument that marks the middle of the square and marches south along Kedzie Boulevard before looping back around and ending at Lula Cafe, where cookies and hot fresh cider await.

Members of Mucca Pazza are expected to be on hand to make music and merry. Parade-goers are encouraged to bring noisemakers of their own to wake up the dead.
