A 'New' Steak Has Been Discovered: The Vegas Strip

We're not quite sure that the word "discovered" is correct for a new cut of beef, but whatever you call it, expect to see the "Vegas Strip" (ha, so punny) hitting menus and butcher shops near you. CBS Chicago reports that Dr. Tony Mata, food scientist and beef expert, discovered the new steak in a cut of beef usually ground up into hamburger.

Chef Rick Gresh, of David Burke's Primehouse, appeared in the segment, calling the steak "a pretty huge deal," and telling CBS that he's sold as many as 400 Vegas Strips in a single day. Check out the story of the new meat below.
