One of our favorite local food trucks is getting into the giving spirit and throwing their very own holiday party. The Roost will be bringing their Southern style off the street and into the confines of Lincoln Station for an unlimited buffet promising favorites from the truck plus a few surprises. For $20 (plus a $2 service fee) you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and your ticket includes two drink vouchers.

Back at our old corporate job that was marooned on a foodless island, food trucks were our usual lunch option. The Roost was always a welcoming sight, offering well seasoned hot fried chicken and salty crumbly biscuits. Their chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich might be one of the few things we miss the most about our old job.

You can snag a ticket here. Do so quickly before they sell out so you can enjoy some fried chicken goodness Thursday night.

The Roost Holiday Party is Thursday Dec. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lincoln Station (2432 N. Lincoln Ave). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.
