Do-Rite's Truffle Doughnut

Unique flavor combinations and high end ingredients have started trickling into the booming doughnut market over the past few years, but Do-Rite is taking doughnuts to the next level with their latest creation; a truffle doughnut.

If you are looking to spoil yourself (or your favorite doughnut lover) with a decadent treat then head over to Do-Rite for this limited time only luxurious item. What does one put on a truffle doughnut? Do-Rite starts with a yeast risen doughnut, tops it with truffle syrup, fleur del sel and Valrhona chocolate shavings. The final step is to add three grams of fresh shaved-to-order white truffles. A mixture of earthy and sweet, this clearly isn't your everyday morning coffee doughnut concoction.

The truffle doughnut is only available for a limited time while truffles are in season. Each doughnut costs $20. Do-Rite is located at 50 W. Randolph St. They are open 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.
