Are your amps amassing dust? Looking to unburden your closet? Do you really need four basses? Schubas Tavern and Reverb.com are hosting a free, all-ages Gear Swap on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Bring your used instruments to sell or swap at the first annual event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Local music vendors, including Chicago Music Exchange, Rax Trax Recording, Music Garage Chicago, Vic’s Drum Shop, Third Coast Guitar Service, and Avenue N Guitars, will be on hand to buy and sell used and vintage instruments and do setups.

Enjoy $3 Revolution Anti Hero, Bottom Up Wit, and Eugene Porter beers, and also enter raffles benefiting Rock for Kids for the chance to win gifts like studio time at Rax Trax and passes to the 2014 Tomorrow Never Knows fest.

If you’re interested in selling guitars, pedals, amps, drums, keyboards, or other gear, e-mail Gear@Schubas.com to reserve free table space.
