Good Morning, all and here's hoping you have everything you need to ride out the bitter cold that's coming the next two days. Today sets the stage for that with another 6 to 12 inches of snow through 6 p.m. this evening and a high in the low teens. (Or upper teens, if you follow Accuweather.) We're already in the upper teens and the mercury is expected to fall throughout the day.

The winds from the northwest are ushering that drop in temperatures as the area falls under a wind chill warning until noon Tuesday. Those winds will also blow snow around, causing drifts.

Do check in on the elderly and infirm. The city's warming centers are open and Gov. Pat Quinn will open another 100 to help people beat the cold.
