Video: Broken Pipe Sends Poop Water Flowing At Leo Burnett Building

By Chuck Sudo in News on Jan 7, 2014 11:00PM

If you're among the scores of people working from home enjoy this Instagrammed video from Kasey Moore and thank Providence you aren't a Leo Burnett employee.

That looks like poop water falling from the ceiling—one more reason to respect Mother Nature and not test the elements until this cold front goes away. We're worrying about frozen pipes in homes across the Midwest. Here is our worst nightmare 15-16 floors up in a downtown office building.

Brian McGannon of Post Grad Problems has more.

From the source:

As far as we know (I sit on the 6th floor and have friends on 14, where it’s begun to leak down from the 15th floor, where it originated) a pipe burst and all signs are pointing to poop water, but that has yet to be confirmed for us. No mass emails have been sent out at this point to the company, but those on 15 have taken refuge to other floors or gone home. My source on the 14th floor has said that while the water smells of feces, there is talk of just rust.

Rust water. Raw sewage. All we know is it's brown, it came from a burst pipe, it smells and we would be heading to the nearest bar tapping out to Nature if we worked at Leo Burnett.
