Own Chiberia In T-Shirt Form

This bitter winter has been one for the record books and one we're all looking to see end, like Persephone trying to rise from the underworld to bring us spring.

As trying as the season has been for those of us with shelter, the homeless have had to largely ride this out through outdoors, on buses, trains or wherever they could find to have some respite from the elements.

This winter has also become synonymous with one word: "Chiberia." The folks at events.org have designed a t-shirt with that word to commemorate all the frostbite, frozen streets, broken water mains and the potholes. The shirt was designed with the encouragement of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless and all profits from the sale of these limited edition shirts will benefit the organization.
