A spring shower. Isn't that what we wanted? Oh, spring temperatures, as well. Well, we're getting both today and we're just happy we won't need heavy coats. The rain showers are coupled with windy conditions and highs in the mid-40s today, a sure sign that spring is ready to kick the last vestiges of winter out of here. Skilling, to whom the weather is like eating candy (always sweet) says to expect the mercury to climb into the evening as those winds help facilitate a warming trend that will see us enjoying 60-degree temps by Sunday.

The extended forecast from Accuweather shows the 30-degree days may finally be gone. One can hope.
