Pencil This In: Carsick Cars At The Burlington

By Lisa White in Arts & Entertainment on Mar 28, 2014 5:40PM

2014_3_28PTI.jpg.jpg It's not everyday you get to check out some of the best indie rock China has to offer. Touring is costly even if you are on the same continent, so the fact Beijing's Carsick Cars are playing tonight at the Burlington is pretty impressive. Carsick Cars are part of the budding indie rock scene in China and are heavily influenced by Sonic Youth. If this sounds up your sonic alley, make sure to be at the Burlington tonight because odds are, given the distance, you won't be able to catch them anytime soon again.

Carsick Cars play at the Burlington (3425 W. Fullerton) tonight, March 28, at 9 p.m. Also on the bill is Zhang Shouwang's side project White+, Flavor Crystals from Minneapolis, MN and Chicago's own Famous Laughs.
