Earlier this year, Chicago rapper Psalm One took her non-profit Rhymeschool, which helps Chicago kids write their own raps as an extracurricular activity, to Haiti, where the organization helped collaborate with Haitian artists.

Psalm, who released an album, Hug Life, under a pseudonym back in February, was in Haiti for a week. The fruits of her and her collaborators' labor come to life with what Psalm called a "multi-media doc-series" called Memoirs From Haiti.

Psalm recently teased the project, due later in April, with two videos posted on her personal Instagram page.

Check them out below:

In addition to "Memoirs From Haiti," Psalm One recently released a video for Hug Life track "The Responsibility," and appeared as a guest on Chicago Singles Club.
