Finally, some good news for Chicagoans looking to enjoy the city this Spring.
The Hancock Tilt, an attraction at the Hancock Tower which tilts up to eight people down at a thousand feet above ground over downtown Chicago, opened to the public May 10.
The Chicago Sun-Times has this video, which makes the whole thing look pretty frightening:
If you're looking for a more serene way to appreciate Chicago, maybe check out Buckingham Fountain which, as NBC Chicago notes, opened up on the same day, the start of its 87th season.
You have from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. to catch the fountain's displays. At night, they bring out the lights and the music. It's still pretty dang neat after all these years.
So get out there.
