Rick Bayless’ XOCO Wicker Park is inching closer to becoming a reality. Frontera Restaurants placed an ad on Craigslist Wednesday looking to fill front and back of house positions at the upcoming restaurant in the former Salud Tequila Lounge space on Milwaukee Avenue.

Open interviews will be held at Frontera Grill (445 N. Clark St.) 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, June 8 and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday, June 9. Interested candidates must bring a resume. Frontera stresses back of house personnel must have culinary school training while front of house candidates should have strong familiarity with craft beer.

All hires will need to clear their plans next month except for July 4-7. Eater Chicago reports interior construction on XOCO Wicker Park is commencing nicely and the restaurant, which will feature full bar, tableside service and a sidewalk patio, is set to open in late July. Wicker Park’s dining scene keeps getting richer with this news.
