Man Accused Of Ejaculating On Woman On Brown Line Arrested

Suarez-Gomez was standing next to the woman on a crowded train after 7 p.m. when he began grinding his genitals against the women's right leg without her consent, RedEye Chicago reports. The official police report goes on to say he ejaculated "on the full length of her pants leg." Thankfully he was held from fleeing the train by two "good citizens and witnesses."
Meanwhile, earlier today in Midday News Links one of the stories was a neighborhood warning of a man sexually assaulting women in the Logan Square area, not only during broad daylight but generally on busy streets. This individual has been running or riding a bike up to women and grabbing them, shoving his hands up their skirts and dresses.
All of this is a reminder to be alert, regardless of your gender, and if you see something please speak up. If you are sexually assaulted, report it. If you see someone being sexually assaulted, whether they are aware of it happening or not, say something.
As a woman, this is sadly something I've grown accustom to dealing with and the fact I'm use to it just happening is pretty fucked up. A month ago something similar to the Brown Line incident above happened to one of my friends and already I've been sexually harassed a few times this summer on public transit. This is the reality we live with. The RedEye is currently asking others to share their experiences of sexual harassment on the CTA and we suggest going over and doing so. Hopefully this will create more awareness and a dialogue on why we need to watch out for each other when it comes to having zero tolerance regarding predatory behavior.
