Dive Deep Into The Fictional Depths Of PleasureTown

By Allison Kelley in Arts & Entertainment on Jul 9, 2014 9:00PM

2014_07_pleasuretown.jpg PleasureTown, a story-based podcast that chronicles the history of a fictional Oklahoma town and failed utopian society, is now available for download. The podcast is the brainchild of veteran storyteller Keith Ecker (Essay Fiesta, Guts & Glory) and Erin Kahoa (Moth slam winner) with the assistance of WBEZ.

PleasureTown is an interactive show with a history crowdsourced by producers, collaborators and audience members. Listeners are encouraged to contribute art, ideas and full-length writing to be worked into the story. To start, PleasureTown is seeking last names for the town’s leading men, Cyrus and Claude.

PleasureTown is free to download and can be found on iTunes, SoundCloud and on the PleasureTown site.

Or heck, listen to it below!
