A Damn Fine Cup Of Coffee (With Your Art) At Hoosier Mama Tomorrow Night

2014_7_28HMamaPie.jpg Tomorrow night head on over to see "where pies go when they die" and grab a "damn fine cup of coffee" as Hoosier Mama Pie Co. and some local artists celebrate a cult classic. Local artist and Hoosier Mama Pie Co. regular James Zark came up with the idea to combine his work, love of pie and his fandom of the David Lynch television classic, Twin Peaks. "I thought it would be cool to do some event [at Hoosier Mama] because the show is nonstop pie and coffee, and because I'm an artist and I know other artists," Zark told DNAinfo Chicago.

The show will be in conjunction with the release of Twin Peaks: The Complete Mystery. All of the artists being showcased were inspired by Twin Peaks and will have art for sale during the one-night only show. Some of the artists include Zark (who designed the poster to the right), Christopher Mitten and Chicagoist favorite, Sean Dove. And of course there will be a cherry pie and "damn fine" cup of coffee special from Hoosier Mama during the event.

"They got a cherry pie that'll KILL YA": Art & Pie Inspired by Twin Peaks is tomorrow night, Tuesday July 29 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Hoosier Mama Pie Co. located at 1618 W. Chicago Ave.
