Chicago is home to one of the best views in America, according to a new list from Travel + Leisure magazine. 360 Chicago, the re-branded observatory that includes a new tilting Skydeck that allows viewers a thrilling view of the streets below, was one of the magazine’s selections.

But it’s the views of downtown, the outlying neighborhoods and, on clear days, panoramic views of the Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan shorelines that are the main sell for visitors to the Hancock. It's also a popular setting for professional and amateur photographers to test out the limits of their cameras and skills.

Of course, many Chicagoans know these views may also be enjoyed along with a martini or three at the Signature Room, but let’s keep that to ourselves.
