What's not surprising is that the Chicago Cubs lost their second game in a row to the Tamba Bay Rays, in a 4-0 shutout. What is perhaps surprising, though, is that the Chicago Cubs Twitter account Tweeted the final score of the game during the ninth inning.

They later apologized, then explained how the mistake happened in the first place.

While a mistake like this indeed shouldn't happen, it perhaps isn't the worst case of jumping the gun.

Oh well. At least the Sox won.
