Cubs Twitter Account Posts Final Score As Game Is Happening, Turns Out To Be Accurate Anyway

What's not surprising is that the Chicago Cubs lost their second game in a row to the Tamba Bay Rays, in a 4-0 shutout. What is perhaps surprising, though, is that the Chicago Cubs Twitter account Tweeted the final score of the game during the ninth inning.
Final score: #Rays 4, #Cubs 0.

They later apologized, then explained how the mistake happened in the first place.
#Cubs fans, we apologize for the accidental update sent before the game ended a moment ago. It was a mistake and shouldn't have happened.

While a mistake like this indeed shouldn't happen, it perhaps isn't the worst case of jumping the gun.
Oh well. At least the Sox won.
