Thursday Afternoon Diversion: Local Advertising

By Kevin Robinson in Arts & Entertainment on Aug 21, 2014 8:10PM

There's a handful of local advertisements in Chicago that EVERYONE knows: Victory Auto Wreckers, Celozzi-Ettleson Chevrolet, Harlem Furniture, and of course 588-2300 Empire.

It's easy to love the badvertisments when you've grown up with them, or when they encompass something special about where you're from. Sometimes bad ads are bad, but sometimes they're so bad, they're great! Today we give you an ad for the back to school sales at East Hills Mall in St. Joseph, Missouri. Truly an ad so bad, it's great.
