PAWS Chicago Has A Live Kitten Cam Through The End Of August

As if you needed any more afternoon distractions to keep you from finishing your work today. We're fans of all the good work PAWS Chicago does to help out our four-legged friends and right now they are busy during their Summer Kitten Adoption Challenge. During the warm summer months, there is an influx of kittens in city pounds and local animal shelters. During their Kitten Adoption Challenge, PAWS tasked themselves with finding homes for 335 kittens, 10 percent more than during this time last year. The challenge has been going on since July 15, but now they are eying the finish line and only 14 kittens away from their goal. To up the cuteness ante, they've started a new kitten cam to entice you in with fuzzy adorableness.

From noon until 9 p.m. through Aug. 31, you can watch the live kitten cam of their kitten room. Expect a lot of ankles, some humans playing with said kittens, but mainly lots of fuzzy cute kittens napping in the sun and being adorable. Check out the live stream here. We suggest you just leave it open on your computer during the remainder of the challenge and take a cute kitten break when needed.
