Today's Weather: After The Rain

By Jon Graef in News on Sep 21, 2014 2:00PM

The rainstorms which were supposed to arrive yesterday afternoon didn't end up touching down until much, much later in the evening. [Or early this morning, depending on how you want to play it.]

That means many of you may have got rained on while you were returning home from the bar, or on your way to the next one. [Some places got special weather statements about the thunderstorms in their area.]

Your prize for getting rained on is a much cooler day today than yesterday was. Cloudy, mild, and with intermittent showers, Sunday is the start of a cooldown that will last until early this coming week.

Expect a high around 60, according to Accuweather. [Optimists may want to opt for Skilling's prediction of 66.] After that, though, temps return to the 70s with nothing but sun. Just like life, you'll get what you want, but not without some cloudiness first.
