Building off a revival of spirits after a two-loss season start, the Northwestern Wildcats clawed the Badgers back to a decisive victory Saturday. Redshirt freshman Godwin Igwebuike made three interceptions, while freshman Justin Jackson carried rushed for 162 yards. Read more here.
Illinois 27, Purdue 38
The Illinois Fighting Illini did their part try to live up to their name after last week's debacle, and, for a lot of the time Saturday, they certainly put up a fight against Purdue. But, despite improved play, the fight was to be a losing one. Read more here.
