Music Video Of The Day: PUJOL 'Circles'

By Tankboy in Arts & Entertainment on Oct 6, 2014 10:00PM

Daniel Pujol and his band—imaginatively known as PUJOL—created the rambunctious KLUDGE LP earlier this year and its rowdy take bouncing back and forth between punk and power pop has kept it in rotation as one of our favorite albums of 2014. It was hard for us to initially imagine an accurate visual representation of the band's sound that wouldn't come across as cheesy, but the hyper-frenetic stop-motion video for their song "Circles" does a good job of actually doing so.

PUJOL is coming back to Chicago tomorrow, Oct. 7, to open for Screaming Females for a 17+ show at Logan Square Auditorium at 9 p.m. Tickets are still available. Looking to party? Then get your tix and then get down with PUJOL.

Since you apparently can't watch music videos on television anymore, we'll showcase one here daily. There's no rhyme or reason, time or season, to which video we'll choose. Have a suggestion? Contact us at tips@chicagoist.com.
