By Melissa McEwen in Food on Oct 8, 2014 8:30PM

Chef David Posey, best known in Chicago as the former chef-de-cuisine at Blackbird, is planning on opening his own restaurant. In the meantime, he's turning The Garage (116 N Aberdeen St.) into a French Bistro tomorrow for lunch and dinner.

The lunch menu includes French street foods like handcut pomme frites with aioli and buckwheat crepes with Emmental and Brillat Savarin cheeses. It will be served first come first serve, as their lunches usually are.

The multi-course dinner at 7:30 p.m. features bistro classics like chicken liver pate and steak frites with wine pairings. Dinner is $85 all-inclusive and is reservations only. Email salsa@thesalsatruck.com to reserve a seat.
