Learn about the new Chicago Market co-op while eating some delicious fried chicken, pimento mac and cheese, and biscuits at Honey Butter Fried Chicken (3361 N Elston Ave.) on October 28 at 6:30 p.m.

A vegan option of a fried onion string sandwich with smoky paprika, roasted garlic hummus, pea tendrils and roasted red peppers is also available if you reserver it in advance.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased on Mealsharing or on the Chicago Market website. The ticket includes beer from Forbidden Root and wine from Candid Wines.

Proceeds will go towards helping Chicago Market get started.
